CW11/WPIX WINS EDWARD R. MURROW AWARD FOR BEST NEWSCAST

NEW YORK, April 14, 2008-- The CW11/WPIX, Tribune Broadcasting's New York CW affiliate, was named BEST NEWSCAST and honored with an Edward R. Murrow Award by The Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA). CW11 News at Ten's coverage of the July, 2007 Steam Pipe Explosion was honored with a Regional Murrow Award for Region 11, which covers all of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
