John Muller has been co-anchor of the Emmy award winning CW11 Morning News since it's debut in June 2000. Prior to that he was a field reporter on The CW11 News at Ten.
John, a native of Williston Park, Long Island, grew up watching WPIX-TV and fondly remembers watching cartoons on Channel 11 as a boy.
After graduating from New York University, John began his news career in 1989 as a reporter and anchor at WTOC-TV in Savannah, Georgia, a CBS affiliate. He also held similar jobs at WBBH in Fort Myers, WFLA in Tampa, Florida, and WNBC's Newschannel 4, where he remained until joining The CW11 News at Ten in 1999 as a field reporter. In 2000, John was named the anchor of the CW11 Morning News.
He has received a number of awards including The Associated Press Award for "Outstanding Individual Achievement" and the National Academy of Television Journalists Award for "Excellence in Breaking News." When he is not anchoring the news, John enjoys golfing, hiking and traveling.
