Dookie stopped by the studio Monday morning and performed their spot-on rendition of the Green Day classic "When I Come Around." They stuck around after the credits rolled and treated us with a rousing web-exclusive performance of "Welcome to Paradise." For more on Dookie, log onto allthingsdookie.com or their MySpace page.

Big Shot, led by piano man Michael DelGuidace, brought their love for Billy Joel to the CW11 studios Tuesday morning and performed "Big Shot" on the Morning News show. Exclusively for our web readers, they turned out a spectacular version of Joel's epic "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant." Find out more about Big Shot at bigshottributeband.com and on their MySpace page.

Maybe there ain't no doctor that can cure your disease but if you're craving classic New Jersey hard rock, look no further than Bad Medicine to get your Bon Jovi fix. Frontman Steve Sage (or was it Jon himself?) and guitarist Joe Anderson rocked the CW11 Morning Show on Wednesday, performing acoustic versions of "Wanted Dead or Alive" and a web-exclusive "Livin' on a Prayer." For more information on Bad Medicine, check out www.bonjovitribute.com.

Apparently, when Journey guitarist Neal Schon saw pictures of Hugo Valenti, lead singer from Journey tribute band Evolution, he was completely freaked out. "He looks exactly like Steve Perry!" That's the same reaction we had here at CW11 when Hugo and the boys from Evolution stopped by to pay tribute to Journey in our Morning News studio on Thursday. And once Hugo started singing, it became clear that he's got the pipes to match. Indulge your early 80s nostalgia by watching a powerful web-exclusive clip of "Open Arms" and a searing rendition of the smash hit "Don't Stop Believin'." To get more information on Evolution or to join their fan club, check out www.journeyshow.com.

Midtown Manhattan is probably abuzz this morning with possible Bono sightings but we can let you in on a little secret. The man seen about town is actually Tony Russo, whose U2 tribute band Unforgettable Fire brought the house down as the final act in our CW11 Morning News Tribute Week. It's not easy trying to match the larger-than-life vibe that U2 exudes but Unforgettable Fire nailed it when they tore through "I Will Follow" in our studio. And, exclusively for our web readers, they gave us an amazing encore with "Where the Streets Have No Name." A new U2 megatour is probably years away but, in the meantime, you can always catch Unforgettable Fire. Find out what they're up to at uf2.com and their MySpace page.
